The Pledge to transform healthcare
Together, we can transform healthcare to have a safer, more sustainable future by reducing plastic use and eliminating toxic chemicals in healthcare environments. Join the movement and pledge to promote and implement healthier practices that benefit both patients and the planet.
What is the Pledge?
At Health Care Without Harm (HCWH) Europe and Born Green Generation, we are on a mission to reduce plastic and chemical use in healthcare and make sustainable healthcare the global norm.
By joining the Born Green Generation Pledge, you commit to taking action or supporting those taking action in healthcare environments to reduce the use of harmful and unnecessary plastics and chemicals.
By signing the pledge, you become part of the solution to transition to a sustainable healthcare system.
What does it mean to pledge and how does it work?
By joining the Pledge, you are committing to advocate for the reduction of the unnecessary use of plastics and toxic chemicals in the first 1000 days of life.
Who
can join?

During the initial phase of the Pledge, we are focusing exclusively on participants following the objectives of the Born Green Generation project. This includes healthcare professionals in maternity and paediatric wards and parents.
As the Pledge evolves, we will expand participation to include additional groups, with the goal of eventually opening it to broader healthcare sectors.
Help spread the word and showcase your journey by using the hashtags and sign up for the Born Green Generation newsletter for more inspiration and updates.
